The shop was opened by Andy and Jenny in october 1998, and since then the shop has gone from stength to strength.

Keeping fish almost all his life, Andy is dedicated to his business and customers. He believes customer relation is one of the most important things when it comes to buying fish.

Origionally the shop only contained tropical and coldwater fish. In 1999 a few tanks were converted into Tropical Marines at the rear of the shop, gradually the number of tanks increased, and in early 2002 a 900 gallon marine system was professionally installed. Filtration was the key element and because of this a very large sump was fitted with a commercial size protein skimmer, four professional ultra-violet sterilisers and a sand filter. This along with biological and chemical filtration creates perfect conditions.

This not only allowed customers more selection of fish and invertabrates but a much greater quality of fish.

Along with filtration two large maetal halide lamps were installed to ensure optimum coral growth.
